We're nearly to the end of our first year of operations, and with volume 2 right around the corner it is my great pleasure to announce a few changes that will make Red Planet Magazine even better.
Here's part one of the upcoming changes:
September will be the last monthly issue... because Red Planet Magazine will now be quarterly!
The new volume will begin with the Winter issue, which will be available (appropriately) on the first day of winter.
This means that a new reading schedule will be established for submissions - however there are still NO READING FEES, and there never will be! Red Planet Magazine will always remain a no-fee publication :)
Reading Periods for Volume 2:
Reading Period: October 1st - November 30th
Published: First day of winter.
Reading Period: January 1st - February 28th
Published: First day of spring.
Reading Period: April 1st - May 31st
Published: First day of summer.
Reading Period: July 1st - August 31st
Published: First day of fall.
Going quarterly will allow Red Planet Magazine to feature more talent, produce a higher quality publication, AND we will begin considering simultaneous submissions!
I am so excited to see the adventures volume 2 will take us on! In the meantime, stay tuned for part two of the new changes, which will be announced soon - right here on redplanetmagazine.com.
